I am very glad that I was able to communicate with the Czech students more than I had expected. We were surprised that they had so much talent. They performed a dance, a song, played the flute, and also delivered a speech in Japanese for us. During the school tour, we were able to share information about our schools with each other and learn about the differences. Czech students gave us a wonderful presentation about Czech culture, and we also taught them about Japanese culture. One of the TJK students made quizzes, and we had fun thinking of the answers together. Lunch time was the most exciting time! Since we were able to communicate with each other for a long time, we got to know each other better, making it difficult for me to say goodbye. We got many Czech presents too! It was a precious experience for all of us. Thanks to all of the students and teachers from Czech. I hope I can visit the Czech Republic someday. (高2 E.O.)

I had an incredible experience at the cultural exchange with the Czech students. I have little experience with exchange activities, so I was very nervous, but the Czech students’ and teachers’ kind and friendly hearts made my anxiety go away and I was able to have a wonderful time. My class did a school tour for the Czech students and teachers in groups. The students and teachers in my group asked me and my friends questions about our school and taught us some things about their school. I felt happy when they were impressed by our music room. After that, my class did some activities and ate lunch with the Czech students and our school’s 10th graders. We all did a presentation. I was amazed by the Czech students’ presentation about Czech and their school.  After the entire activity, we had a chance to take photos and communicate. My friends and I were so excited to talk to them. I was able to ask many Czech students for their accounts on Instagram so that I could stay in touch with them. We chatted about the things we liked and some students gave me some gifts, and they were beautiful. (高2 M.T.)
