中１国際学級プレゼンテーション～日本のWonder～
中１国際学級 Language Artsの Greenグループでは、３学期 “World Wonders”を読み、各国の世界遺産について学びました。そして、生徒たちは観光会社の社員になったつもりで、「日本のWonder」をテーマにパンフレットやパワーポイントを作って、「お客様」に自分自身が選んだ場所の魅力を英語でプレゼンテーションしました。以下は生徒の感想になります。
国際学級の英語では、プレゼンテーションなどクラスメイトに自分の考えや調べたことを発表することが他のクラスより多く、今回もそのひとつでした。特に今回は大掛かりで、パンフレット、PowerPoint、原稿などプレゼンテーションのためにたくさんの材料の用意が必要でした。今回の課題は「お客様にこの場所に行きたいと思わせるプレゼンテーション」でしたので、わかりやすくするだけでなく、魅力を感じ、興味を持てるような構成になるように努力しました。プレゼンテーションは大人になって仕事でもよく活用すると思います。将来に繋がるいい機会をありがとうございました。（R.Y.さん）
今回は、”Wonder in Japan”というテーマでプレゼンテーションを行いました。このプロジェクトは中学一年生としての集大成であるため、普段よりも力を入れて準備をしました。どうしたら聞き手が興味を持ち、行きたいと思えるか、パンフレットやPowerPointを作る際にはたくさん悩みました。しかし、力を入れて準備をしたからこそ得られる満足感は本当に素晴らしいものでした。また、クラスメイト一人一人の発表でも様々な知識を得ることができ、思わず実際に行きたくなってしまう場所ばかりでした。今後のためにもなり、自分の1年間の努力を発表できる良い機会になりました！(H.M.さん)
In Language Arts we had a presentation. Each student introduced one wonder in Japan. I thought all of the presentations were wonderful. It would be interesting to visit some of the places I have never been to. I think most of the students were at first struggling about which place they should pick and how to make the pamphlet and the PowerPoint interesting. However, in my opinion, all students were able to make a successful presentation as a 7th grader. I think when we become 8th graders and higher, we will be able to make successful presentations and be proud of ourselves in our improvement.（H.Iさん）
今までもPowerPointを使っての活動はありましたが、今回は1人で短時間で全て行ったのでみんなそれぞれ頑張ったと思います。テーマが“Wonder in Japan”だったのでそれぞれ心の底から素敵だなと思った所を紹介しました。だから、書きたいことがたくさんあって、文章を削ることが大変でした。けれど、写真やPowerPoint のアニメーション、絵などを使って効果的で理解しやすいものが作れたと思います。この学習でPowerPoint の使い方も知られたし、他の人のプレゼンを聞いて地理や歴史に関しても詳しくなれたので、とても貴重な時間でした。

The purpose of this presentation was to introduce a place in Japan which we think is a wonder, and make a pamphlet and PowerPoint! I personally was able to make the PowerPoint easily, though making the pamphlet was hard since we needed to write them by ourselves. There were many places that we have never heard of before; however, every one of them were very fascinating. Our goal was to “sell” the place we were introducing and to convince the others to go there. Some of our classmates were talking about the history and old stories about the place they researched about so we were able to learn history too! We had a wonderful time so we want to have this kind of presentation again someday. ありがとうございました！！（C.O.さん）
