2021年夏 BLAST特別企画 Day5 ～Possible Challenges for Design Thinking～

高１国際コースで5日間実施した「2021年夏BLAST特別企画」の「Global Competence Intensive Session」の最終日のレポートです。

「Global Competence Intensive Session」では、「Design　Thinking」をロジカルに深掘りし、多彩な角度から考えぬいたアカデミックなプログラムです。ポジティブ思考の重要性、アイディア創出とゴール達成手法、ダイバーシティ許容の重要性、プロトタイプ手法による効率的なアプローチ、SWOT分析による相違点の抽出方法等、5日間で多くの学びを得ることができました。

最終日は、それらをベースに「Possible Challenges for Design Thinking」というテーマで、5日間の学びの成果を各グループがプレゼンテーションしました。現状をより快適にするグループ独自の理想的なアイディアを創出した素晴らしい内容のものでした。また、対面講義の前後で行ったUSオンラインセッションでは、ハーバード大学・コロンビア大学・スタンフォード大学・ダートマウス大学等海外トップ大学生との交流とキャンパスツアー、ニュージーランド大使館・米国IT企業（GAFAの1社）で働く女性リーダー・米国企業で働く日本人女性の方達の講義等々多彩なプログラムを実施しました。海外政府機関や最先端の環境の中で活躍する女性リーダーから「ダイバーシティ」、「ジェンダー平等」、「キャリア形成」、「リーダーシップ」等生の声を聞き、大きな刺激と共感を受けた様子でした。自分自身のキャリア形成への意識やモチベーションが向上し、参加した大きな成長を遂げてくれました。
以下は最終日の生徒の感想になります。

It is day 5, the last day of BLAST. In the morning, we were able to speak to our guest speaker Tiffany. We got to learn about her school life and career. We were able to learn many things from her! 
Afterwards, with one of the teachers Ms.Anya, we learned the importance of diversity and how it is acceptable for one another to think in different ways. Subsequently, we did the final touch for the design thinking presentation we had been preparing since day 1. All the groups practiced a lot and had a lot of fun. In the afternoon, it was time for us to present the project we did. Each group had a unique presentation which I would have never thought about and it was spectacular. From design thinking we learned that by collecting data we can make a plan everyone can enjoy. In addition, we had many presentations so we were able to gain confidence. After all the presentations were done we gave letters to the teachers and celebrated. It was a blast of a time and memorable for us💕
